Through a helpful accident while mucking around with some templates, I ended up "creating" this background pattern. I rather thought that it looked like intestines. So I thought, "why not write a poem about intestines?". Sure, no problemo!
And seeing that I'm a microbiologist by trade (officially, and when I actually have a job. I just graduated, that's my excuse!), I figured I could write about the microbes IN the intestines! What fun! So, armed with some reading material and some microbiology know-how, I wrote this. I may regret it in the morning, but I doubt that. You would probably regret me writing it, though. But hopefully not. Reading material!: Study showing how the partnership between microbes can help us to digest and absorb food properly. The reason why microbes and humans could be considered a superorganism. [this link requires a free signup] |

And you know you're going to have to follow this up with a poem about Staph and "pinnacles of passion upon my skin".

"Honey, I'm Farlander. I'm married to my Library, and you are not it."
"Pinnacles of passion upon my skin"????? Where'd you come up with stuff like that?
What about Pseudomonas aeruginosa and "glowing with a love so strong for your flesh, a passion like a fire engulfing you, glowing in the dark so deep..."

"Honey, I'm Farlander. I'm married to my Library, and you are not it."
Do you have it or is it with me?
Okay, maybe but only in small doses.
